Welcome to the Bishop project!
This is the fourth installment of the Chess Series by me, unseenkiller!
The Bishop is a 10mm or 45ACP printable glock frame. As well, there are "long" frame options for each texture style, so those with Glock 40 (10mm Long) and 21L (21 Long) slides and barrels have full-length dust cover options.
As a very special 'thank you' to Riptide Rails for sponsoring me with a pair of ShadowHunter55 rails (sold on riptiderails.com), the Bishop is being released exclusively in this rail style.
Print it rails down.
Use 8 walls.
Print it with 100% infill (pattern shouldn't matter).
Use PLA+ or stronger (PLA+ or PA12CF Nylon recommended).
For transparency, the original SH55 readme will be included.
Testing:
5x rounds of 45ACP for posterity
500x round of 10mm using PLA+ for release testing
Issues found during testing:
- no cracks
- no warp
- upper trigger pin walked a few times, but never impeded functionality
- this was believed to be caused by third party pin manufacturer
