MagPump - Beretta 92 magazine sleeve

Jack Brush 1.7MiB Released August 21, 2025, 4:10 PM 0.010LBC 0 Reposts
This is a sleeve to adapt Beretta 92 magazines to the Magpump. I do not own a Beretta PX4 or a CX whatever but I have heard the magazines are similar so they will probably also work. If you've tried it with any other magazines besides 92 ones specifically comment below on your results.

README
for my own print I used polymaker PETG with the standard .2 settings with a .4mm nozzle.

you do not need supports, even with PETG.

1. Inserts just like the other magpump magazine sleeves
2. Put the magazine in at an angle and then drag it until the lugs engage with the magazine lug recesses
3. Push the sleeve in until the magazine sleeve lug enganged with the sleeve release, it should be fairly solidly in the magpump at this point
4. load as you have before, you will see the magazine move a bit but it shouldnt cause any issues.

remixing
in order to reuse this model to make another magazine compatible you will only need to modify the magazine release lugs. they need sit at different heights depending on where on the magazine body
the magazine lug recesses/cutouts are. This time the recesses were very low and did not match any of the other magazine sleeves that came with the magpump. In the hellcat release you were looking to do is have the tallest point of the magazines feed lips sit about 16.5mm from the closest point on the sleeve.
However, this is not the case for the beretta 92 version, with the feedlips sitting 16.5mm from the top of the sleeve it could load
but it also jammed more often and even loaded backwards once. The distance for the beretta is ~18.5mm. There is a large amount of tolerance here, feels like +/- 1.5mm. You may have to modify the magazine sleeves inner radii as well as the width of the inner sleeve to fit the magazine but looking at the 226 mags in the cz sleeve they do not have to be perfect like I did for the hellcat and now the Beretta.
You should be able to leave the outer lugs and magazine sleeve recess, lip whatever alone.
I have many italian made 92 magazines and one usa made magazine. the sleeve will load both but the italian ones will load much much smoother. If you have alot of these then i recommend playing with how far the magazine lugs sit as they seemed to load better the closed to 16.5mm feedlip crest height.

if you are going to use PLA or something stiff you may want to elongate the cutout in the middle of the sleeve so they lugs can be bent in.
I initially had it the same as the magpump sleeves that came with the machine but noticed it was way too flexible in PETG so I shortened it. Anyway getting the magazine lugs correct will be
the biggest hurdle. just measure the recesses depth and length and make the lug or lugs .5mm smaller. should work like the hellcats model does. You should not need to chamfer the lugs.

still a fairly easy project but the exact distance for the feed lip length is fairly variable from what ive seen. The lug recesses on the 92 are very low compared to the other magazines.
