The purpose of the above-mentioned jig is to significantly increase the success-rate of FGC-9 bolt manufacturing by drilling the striker orifice (and pre-drill the charging handle recess) AFTER the welding phase of the process. Jigs have been modelled for this effect and can be 3D-printed and used, with little or no post-production, depending on your choice.
