Based on the PG-7, this dummy flare is for use in Signal Source / Exotic Firearms 37mm 3.5" aluminum casings.
This flare's fins will deploy after peaking in flight and allow it to fall tip-first.
~60g of filament required.
6 gas rings give the flare a secure fit in the aluminum casing and a mild gas seal in the barrel.
Pusher extends into the aluminum casing's powder bushing to help keep powder grains together for consistent launching.
Tested with 20gn lifting charge.
Requires minimal fitting and filing; tool-less assembly; glue required for mating the Pusher to the Base and the Cap Tip to the Cap Threads.
NOT DESIGNED FOR PYROTECHNIC MATERIAL (but model could be modified if desired)
