Bayonet Lug Attached Picatinny Rail for AKs

What it says on the tin. This little picatinny nugget slides onto your AK's
bayonet lug and tightens up, giving you a solid forward mounting point for a
bipod or laser or... a modern bayonet? Who is to say.

printing

  • Material: PA6-GF (the barrel gets hot my dude do not print with PLA)
  • Temp: 270-290
  • Bed: 100 and bit of glue never hurt nobody
  • Speed: Slow queen, be patient. I do 50% on my K2plus.
  • Supports: not strictly necessary tho slim trees in critical regions only helps
  • Orientation: See PNG. The 3MF file is oriented correctly.

materials

  • 1x M5-30 screw
  • 1x M5 nut (m-lok style t-nut will also work in a pinch)

finishing

Slide the device forward from the back onto the bayonet lug. It should be tight.
Just get it started, don't try to force it with your pretty hands or you'll get
an ouchie. Insert the M5 screw through the front on the lug (where your cleaning
rod usually goes - sorry cleaning rod) and insert your nut into the recess in
the rear facing side of the device. If you are using a t-nut, just make sure it
locks horizontally.

changelog

  • 7/10/26 - add longer relief cut to accomodate the rear face of the lug when
    tightened
