this is a simplified version of the XD92. it uses Beretta m9/92fs style mags. The mag release is from an SD9VE, the mag release spring is from a glock mag release (an sd9 mag release spring may work idk i never tried one)
this requires an xd9 parts kit, a 15/17 round Beretta mag. there is a pocket for inserting a 7 digit section of dog tag (optional), and a plug behind it to weld in place with a hot knife or soldering iron.
optional: take 2x 3/8" 6-32 set screws. one presses against the back of the trigger bar to prevent it from over traveling, and the second one plugs the hole behind it so the channel doesn't fill with debris.
this will not work with xd mod 2 or mod 3, or xdm parts kits.
