Few things.
- Moving barrels fell out of fashion for things shooting at mid-far engagements because they never lock back up exactly where they were last time, and it makes maintaining zero a huge pain in the ass.

They're dirt cheap, ugly as shit, and have historically had (overblown but still there) reliability issues.
Their low cost led to a lot of them being used by gang bangers since they could be treated as a disposable gun, causing them to regularly show up in "top ten guns found in evidence lockers" list…
