This model adapts a garden stake available at Amazon for one dollar each to hold a glass beverage bottle. The garden stakes are very lightweight but plenty rigid enough to support the weight of the bottle so they're a very convenient solution for situations where you either have to pack your targets in and out and don't want to carry heavy steel rods, or where you can't leave expensive targets for fear of having them stolen. If you accidentally shoot low, all you've lost is ten cents worth of PLA and the top two inches of your one dollar garden stake. The stakes come in lengths of two to six feet, and the adapter will work with bottles of various sizes as long as they have standard size mouths.

These make great targets for quiet shooting at night because they're loud enough for the shooter to hear them, but not loud enough to disturb your neighbors like steel targets can be. For even more night shooting fun, there's a version on my website that holds mini glow sticks inside the neck of the bottle, which can be seen with the naked eye up to about 100 yards away, and further with optics and or on moonless nights: www.jackbanksdesign.com
