This Metal Slip Clip Extender is specifically for Super Safe MP5's that use a Lee Sporting housing with a metal Slip Clip due to the momentum from the extra weight of the metal slip clips slamming into the SS lever, causing accelerated wear and damage to the SS lever and cam, which this extension solves by keeping the slip trip in an extended position (except during cycling when the bolt carrier contacts the rear, which it will temporarily collapse).
Not needed for printed slip trips and shouldn't be necessary for the lightweight V2 and V3 metal slip trips that will be available soon.
Includes 2 different size extenders to accept the following 3 spring sizes (based on what my local hardware had in stock) found here:
