Description
The cali-can is designed to be a zero post-process, direct thread, ultra-lightweight .22 suppressor for 1/2x28 threaded barrels. As printed, the can takes about 3 hours on an input shaping capable printer, and uses ~40 grams of filament.
Materials Required
- x1 filament - Tested with nylon-cf and pla+ so far.
Instructions
Filaments tested so far: nylon-CF, PLA+
- 5 walls
- 98% infill, rectilinear
- precision walls
- no support
- smooth build plate
- print threads down
Tip: print only the bottom of the can to test threadability first, can has been tested on multiple 1/2x28 threads so far. Highly recommend drying nylon filament to maintain dimensional tolerances.
