browning lever action thread adapter. 5/8x24 and 1/2x28.. it should be a very tight press fit.

The bolt has a steel block that rises and falls to engage with a barrel extension to lock. Think of a shotgun lock but linear rather than an angled lifted piece, or like browning’s lever actions, or a falling block rifle.

That’s really sick. Personally, I really want to see the safety function as the slide lock/slide release. I understand why browning had a separate slide lock and release, I just think that it would be a huge improvement if the safety and slide lock could do everything in one lever.
