So, this serves 2 purposes i suppose.
first, being there was not a functional 3-d printable dust cover that existed that could just easily be downloaded and function. well, now there is.
Second - why stop there.
the dust cover could be a viable method of securing an optic to an ak IF DONE RIGHT.
it needs to have 2 areas on the firearm that lock the dust cover down, or latch it, screw it, ect ect...
think - like the factory russian ak-12.
so, i found this design on grab-cad, played around with it abit, and well. heres what i discovered, im still researching it, but after discussing it openly i thought id share my findings.
im just 1 person and dont have a whole lot of free-time.
