ONLY USE THIS MODEL IF YOU ARE FREE POURING AND NOT VACUUM CASTING. YOU WILL GLUE THIS WITH A GLUESTICK UPSIDE DOWN IN THE FREE POUR CASTING MOLD I HAVE LISTED.
tim hoffmans super safety in a casting tree. this has 6 kits so you are bound to get atleast 1 full kit no matter how bad you are at casting, 6 cams, 6 levers, enough detents to insure a couple work. there is enough room between each cam for the size of a dremmel cutoff wheel, the levers have enough of the natural form to be able to knock off the rods and sand to match the surface, the 3 levers together can be rocked back and forth to separate easier.
when slicing scale it at 101.75%, that leaves everything in spec and enough to sand and clean the outside of everything for a nice finish.
it is printed with 3 wall perimeters at 20% infill and supports everywhere.
