Learn how to cast a super safety out of a durable metal using minimal casting equipment. We’re using nickel aluminum bronze for this technique. The second version of this project uses a new alloy recipe as well as a much better investment material. It should be much easier to successfully complete this project now, and the quality of the final product is improved.

2025-10-11: Updated to v2
2025-7-12: Updated the documentation with a safer method of creating droplets. The old method could have produced droplets of metal that had some water trapped in them. The new method of sliding the molten metal down a wood ramp into the water fixes that issue.
