One side is done. Kinda. It’s all wired up and working as intended however, I am waiting to solder everything together until the other parts come in so that I may make a tutorial for you good people.

12ga cold rolled 440c should be able to resist the shear and wear forces from that cartridge

In what universe? 12GA sheet stock is 0.104" in an annealed state it will immediately fail.
