I just wanted to change width of the inner core without having to remake the two outer shells.
I only split the model and added a alignment hole.

Two tricks to use, first scale all parts at same time to make tube longer/shorter or smaller/larger diameter. When you are happy with over all size there you can then scale these two new pieces to change the diameter of the silicon tube without changing the outer mold pieces.
Silly trick to be sure but it's fairly fast to change sizes without having to edit in CAD.
The original designer did a great job with this, thank you for your contribution to the community.
