This mortar takes .209 or 12GA shotgun primers in the nose. Glue the small ring included in the file on top of the primer. Then glue inside the small ring a .177 caliber or common Red Ryder BBs. Glue it inside the ring, but still touching the primer. Once the BB (Copper or Steel Work) hits something hard enough, it will detonate. The inside is hollow and a seperator is included as well. Fill it with Chalk powder or something spicier. But beware, it will send plastic flying.
