This is a reinforced version of the Gopnik binary disconnector for AK triggers, created to emulate the longevity of the machined ones that are no longer available. You print the middle part in your favorite filament, and get 2x of the correct dxf cut into 1.6mm of titanium from SCS or your favorite metal cutting service. You can try other materials if you want, but I think only chromoly can be better, and only if you harden it yourself.
I have only tested the extended version, the normal version doesn't work in my AKs. If you aren't sure which to use, go get the original Gopnik release and try out printed ones.
The disconnector sandwhich is secured with an m2 bolt+nut and a 2mm dowel (or just a rod cut to length). Refer to the example image.
The Gopnik is not perfect. Even the extended version has caused some fun 3-round burst hammer follow in one of my AKs. I didn't fix that. I only created a version that won't wear down as fast as a fully printed one. Use with caution.
