The SMp.40(V) or Vampir, is a receiver tube for the SMp.40 DIY Maschinenpistole that allows it to mount picatinny optics on the top receiver rail, and a gas mask or night vision compatible low profile stock on the rear grip frame rail.

The SMp.40(V) is intended for a proprietary optic still in development but is capable of other modern optics.

All other parts not included in this kit for the base model SMp.40 need to be downloaded from the original StubbMaschinenpistole release.

If using a 3dprintfreedom parts kit with the improved charging handle, open the receiver charging handle slot to 7mm to match the template in the release version.

Revision 23 October 2025: The charging handle slot has been moved forward as the version originally included was a beta version before the V designation. The further forward charging handle safety notch allows the use of extra heavy extended buffer weights. The updated version is marked with a V on the side under the furniture.
