A pistol friendly Solvent Trap, remixed from my original version to fit better for a pistol setup, this is a thinner version as to allow the sights to be utilized without obstruction. Mutli-Caliber version, will work for 22LR to 9mm. Sub-Sonic 9mm will work best for a longer lifespan.

A can without a booster (or with a malfunctioning booster) will cause that same malfunction on any pistol, 3DP or not. The can was very likely not NFA registered, but we don't have enough to go on as to whether it was 3DP or a "fuel filter"/'Solvent trap'/whatever else they're called.
