ORCA, Modular Handguard

Alternative redesign of the ORCA handguard to improve M-LOK compatibility and overall utility, featuring a straightened top rail in place of the original curved design, Available in both a standard 10-inch and a compact 8.5-inch variant.

Development Status

  • Alpha Phase: Completed
    The alpha prototype has undergone successful testing focused on:

  • durability, Print tolerance and assembly fit

Results confirm structural integrity under controlled testing conditions.

  • Current Phase: Public Beta Release
    The project has entered public beta, opening access to the design files for broader community evaluation. The goal of this phase is to collect user feedback on:

  • Printability across different printers and materials

  • Long-term durability and wear resistance
  • Ease of assembly and potential tolerance adjustments
  • Overall performance consistency

It is planned to expand this design and aesthetic into a full custom ORCA kit in future
