NYLAUG V1.2 REMIX

@SUS 8.9GiB Updated July 8, 2025, 9:02 PM Released July 8, 2025, 10:26 PM 0.015LBC 3 Reposts
This is an (unofficial) updated version of the Nylaug Release.

It includes some unreleased build fixes from behind the scenes in the beta group as well as some geometry fixes related to thin walls on the surplus receiver parts. It also has been reformatted in a way that I feel makes it easier to navigate and know what needs printed.

This release also includes the new build videos by matthew550 which have also been reformatted and renamed to allow for better flow and understandability.

I have repackaged a bunch of accessories and new toys from around odysee to go along with this release. As such, If your project was included in this release, wasn't in the original, and you don't want it to be, please contact me and I will gladly remove it.

V1.1

1. I reverse engineered and remixed the Receiver pieces to fix a number of issues. The biggest one dealt with the oprod hole.
Behind the scenes the recommended tubing to use for the op rod changed to a BRASS 12mm OD Tube.
This is just barely smaller than the 1/2in OD Steel Tubing that was shown in the original release and as such no longer snugly fits into the receiver. It requires the use of an adhesive which would eventually fail due to heat.
The hole for the tubing has been shrunk down from 12.7mm to 12.4mm. This ensures the tube is firm in the receiver but isn't so tight that it's impossible to install.
This also helped to fix another issue.

2. The distance between some geometry for the threaded rods was too small that it wouldn't print with a 0.4mm nozzle.
Come to find out, the holes for the threaded rods were not the same size the entire way throughout the parts. Bringing them down to the proper size fixed the remaining thin wall issues in all but a few areas.

3. Some geometry on the bottom of the receiver was too thin and didn't print at all, causing issues and wasting material. So I just got rid of everything that wasn't needed or would provide no benefit to print in there.

4. There were 2 odd holes toward the top of the main receiver that didn't seem to add anything in the final release and make you waste support material. Those are now gone.

5. I removed the names and logos from the receiver group as it makes the parts weaker due to there being less material and also because it looks stupid and I hate it.
(For future reference please, just put stuff like that somewhere it isn't readily visible as it makes the gun look worse.)

6. Added a tighter fitting trunnion as my stock had too much slop between it and the receiver lock.

V1.2

1. I did a little more cleaning and fixing of files. Re-formatted a few unnecessary step and 3mf files to stl's.

2. Rewrote and Repackaged the entire written build guide which shortened the guide by 26 pages. The Layman's Guide should serve as an easier method for making the Nylaug, as well as the fastest if taking the recommended shortcuts.

3. Moved Method A Stock Denial Parts to a seperate folder as the Layman's Guide recommends the other denial methods for ease of building. (Unless you live in a commie state who hates fun, then stick with Method A)

4. Got the green light to leave the SSAUG folder in the release. (The original was taken down due to RareGreed bs.)

5. Renamed a few of my personal files to actually fit with my Odysee name.

6. I added Nylaug Specific Remixes for the SSAUG to help improve function and drop in compatibility. (New Bolt Carrier Tail and Remixed Trip Slip)

7. Added the SSAUG Part Install Video and a note about the remixes for the Nylaug.

8. For being such an advanced 3D2A Weapon, there sure are a lot of outright mistakes and errors in the Full Monty Guide. Missing pictures, cutoff pictures, wrong part names, wrong examples of parts that aren't in the release, parts and tools lists with parts or tools that are never used or mentioned, and finally long winded paragraphs where, essentially, the same thing is said over and over again or worse, nothing at all. I can't wrap my head around how this release was handled as poorly as it was. It is a miracle this thing made it out.
