This mod adds a bushing to the face plate of DaFizzlez's NT79. This makes the firing pin slide much smoother and will reduce the chance of a light or off-center primer strike. This also will reinforce the area from bolt thrust a little bit. I included a link to McMaster for the part required. This part is a little pricey, so you might want to shop around. STEP file is included. Roughen up with sandpaper or a file and epoxy in place.

Welp, I finally finished my NT79. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I've got about 15-ish hours in making the stock and forend. Big shout out to DaFizzle for such a bad ass file.
For those interested, here's everything I've done.
