This is a foldable pistol grip remix for Matt (Fuddbuster) Larosiere's Hitchhiker 3D printable pistol. The Hitchhiker is an awesome ultralight takedown backpacking 22LR firearm that can be found on the Gatalog.
The foldable pistol grip makes the Hitchhiker even more compact in the "torn down" state. The original grip was very plain, so I added an Iron Man twang to my remix with my pistol's red/gold color scheme. On one side of the grip is the Iron Man mark 1 helmet and on the other side, the mark 1 arc reactor that powers Iron Man's original suit. On the front & back of the pistol grip, I have added a bumpy texture for a slightly better grip of the firearm. Lastly, I've added text wrapped around the entire grip boldly stating "I BUILT THIS AT HOME! WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS!". If you have seen the Iron Man (2008) film, you will certainly get this often meme'd reference from when Obadiah Stane becomes flustered with a Stark Industries scientist. The caption feels just perfect on a 3D printed firearm.
I printed this with a 0.12mm layer height but the rest of print settings were the same as the original instructions.
