Pardon my ignorance; I have the Umerex .22 pistol, and don't see how the geometry would be different with a h&k or clone 9mm MP5?
Or maybe I'm just stupid and am not understanding how the rollers on the bolt interact with the trigger?

Don't have an answer but you probably need to be more specific. Do you mean the h&k mp5 22, the gsg5 or similar, or a mp22?
Regardless of the answer, you will likely need to learn some cad to make it happen.
There are mp5's running ss, so if geometry is the same, then that might be a good place to start
