This Super Safety ready, ambidextrous lower receiver is a more traditional recipe (semi-auto) of the first Apple Pie receiver. The receiver uses as few unique features to stand out from other AR options currently on the market.
First, the utilization of a metal buffer tower adds an incredible amount of strength to the weakest part of the printable AR design. Second, the removable front dovetail is easily replaced with higher quality material to further strengthen the second most common break location. Lastly, the trigger pins are secured in two sections that are printed in a different orientation to the receiver itself. This provides an optimized layer orientation to prevent elongation of the holes and essentially eliminate cracking/layer separation.
