Bear Creek AR-15 Bolt Action Lower Receiver

sparquah 2.8MiB Released November 26, 2025, 2:20 PM

This is a dedicate lower receiver for the Bear Creek AR-15 Bolt Action lineup. It is remixed from @TheCaptainShmeat:e 's FM15 Bufferless remix of @Family_Joules:6 's FM15 Bufferless lower. A remix of a remix.

It features an extended buffer tower to accommodate the length of the carrier that extends paste the rear of a standard lower, in particular Bear Creeks newest generation bolt which is longer than the initial release version. The older ones that are chopped shorter should work just fine as well.

Besides a standard lower parts kit sans bolt release, you will need front eyelit reinforcement bolts, the same you'd use on a Ubar. It also incorporates a cutout for the DB FCG plate which is probably not necessary but couldn't hurt. I would also recommend a piece of foam or felt for the rear of the extension.

Note For the newer uppers with full length carriers:
I made the extension cavity just slightly shorter than the full throw so, when you yank it back it hits the rear end of the extension instead of the upper cutout. It does not interfere with feeding and with some material to buffer it, it is MUCH quieter than if it hits the upper cutout.

!DISCLAIMER!
This is UNTESTED. I have not shot it yet and cannot for some time. I see no reason for it fail but who knows. If you get to it before me, drop a comment.
