This extended and oversized pull ring is intended for the B40 Mini Frag. It makes it easier to index and pull on the smaller grenade body. The ring is a teardrop shape, approximately 50mm diameter 60mm tall. It is intended to be a tight fit in a 3/32 x 1-1/4" cotter pin.
Under tension from a properly tight cotter pin the ring should lay flat against the side of the fuse, and around the 40mm diameter grenade body. This in addition to the plastic material used will also prevent rattle.
