Suppressor 22 Long Rifle ATF Form 1 Accessory

Inspiration and design choices.
- Inspired by PLA+ boi’s testing of a 5.56 suppressor that would interface with an A2 flash hider. The main issue with that design was that 5.56 was quite harsh on metal pins and had significant heat. From my understanding, the project was abandoned in favor of the KAK INDUSTRY Micro Slimline Flash Can as an adapter. 22LR will not have the same effect on the pins that 5.56 had.
- A2 Flash hiders are about 1/3rd the price of a KAK flash can.
- A2 Flash hider allows semi-permanent attachment to any AR15 with a CMMG 22LR adapter without having to remove the existing muzzle device, for example.
- Total cost is less than $20 per suppressor, even using exotic materials, without having to worry about stripped plastic threads. Stripping threads on a 3d print is my least favorite experience.
