This is the most up to date Pipe Hitter 37mm Launcher with most of the DLC in one place and picture instructions as of 11 August 2024.
The kit includes:
-The base launcher
-A picatinny mount
-A direct mount for M16 handguards
-The standalone frame
-A supressor
-Picture instructions
-A printable 37mm smoke projectile
-.step file development kits for the mounts
As of 28 Aug. 2024 The right side closed receiver has been fixed. A prior model from the Beta phase was included that wasnt compatible with the new bolt.
When the Pipe Hitter originally released in 2021 end users got a brief video explaining how the parts align and work, without a bill of materials. Generally end users capable of building the launcher were able to order the hardware in bulk and measure parts to ensure proper fitment based on their discretion, and the moderate skill entry barrier protected the project from "Fosscad moments"
The launcher is now established and proven enough that I have deemed it a safe and acceptable project for newcomers.
Just remember:
While not a firearm or destructive device, this launcher is capable of great harm to yourself and others.
It is not suitable for high velocity impact munitions, multiple stage parachute flares, or 40mm projectiles.
I recommend remote testing for all load development.
It is not lawful to use or posses with lethal munitions or less-lethal devices that are impact based.
The supressor is integral and can not legally be made removeable. If it is removeable and possible to install on a firearm it becomes an NFA item.
All flashbangs, bursting charge smoke grenades, barrier penetrating dispersion rounds, and chalk rounds, must contain under 1/4oz explosive by weight.
