17L length of the black pawn!
- includes your precious little "gas pedal" on both sides (sigh)
- uses Gen 5 takedown springs, not Gen 3 flat springs
- I suggest buying rails from JC Arms, JSD Supply and Riptide Rails
Please don't buy a 17L just for this frame.
I have two - and I'm CONSTANTLY ashamed of myself.
Are they cool? Sure.... but at what cost, man?
You should get more into 43X's and 48's tbh. That's a far more practical 9mm.
Or like a Glock 26X, shortest possible slide but with a grip for man-sized hands.
The Glock 45 Gen5 was cool, 19X basically, 17rd grip with a 19 length slide. I'm pretty impressed with mine.
Oh shit right, this is a Glock 17L ReadMe, uh.......... focus up, what were we talking about?
Oh yeah, print it rails down for PLA, and use my 3MF file if you're printing in Nylon and for some reason you were fan-girling over my silly posts about my nylon printing adventures.
That 3MF file exposes the truth man, it's literally just bambu studio default settings for Generic PA-CF and 0.12 High Quality, but with an 8 wall / 100% infill modifier, and I angle the magwel to be perpendicular with the build plate and placed my own tree supports. Shit ain't that serious. Get a spool and monkey around with it, dude. It's fun.
DM me on X or IG if you need help? I guess?
I mean tbh if you need help printing a glock, maybe don't DM me. Maybe post to FossCAD or something, lol.
