3D printed dummy ammunition, dimensions of a 7.62x39mm cartridge. Can be used for dryfire or malfunction training, or for general
indentification educational purposes.
Printer Used: Ender 3 V2
Filament Used: PLA+
Print Settings:
Extruder: 218C
Bed: 56C
First Layer Print Height: .2mm
Standard Layer Height: .12mm
Wall Thickness: .40
Wall Perimeters: 7+
Infill: 45%+
(Highly advisable to print 3+ copies on a single build plate)
Depending on your machine's settings, you might need to scale +/- .01% for best fit of dummy ammo into the chamber.
NOTE: Whilst this dummy/training ammunition design IS sturdy enough to use, AK ejectors and extractors are very rough on the printed model, and
unfortunately will violently rip the cartridge rim after several uses of the same round. Be aware these are wear items, but compared to other designs
I have created, these will fail quicker.
