Why:
We all have a ton of random A2 grips or similar from lower parts kits. We have things that go onto picatinny rails. Now you have something that allows you to interface them together. It isn't complicated or profound but I made it so I'll share it.
Hardware needed:
- 1/2 x 28 screw. 1/2 inch to 1 inch long, a standard grip screw size
- A2 Grip or any AR15 grip
Print setting:
- Standard PLA+ settings.
- 0.20 mm layer height.
- Does not need to be 100% infill, but print it strong.
- Rail side down with supports or no supports with bridges.
Assembly:
- Screw it together.
- Don't over torque it because you will strip the threads.
Acknowledgements:
- Item includes an A2 grip model from the Gatalog M4 release. A STEP and STL file are generated from this data dump.
