This is a monolithic lower based on the stellar Hoffman Tactical Double Ribbed lower with an oversized MOE grip optimized for BRN-180 uppers, it might also work for some 22lr uppers. This is a work in progress and will require hand fitting for the safety detent. The back rail is based off the MCX/Picatinny stock attachment with a single cut in the middle, intended for a Midwest Industries folding stock attachment. This will not fit regular AR-15 take down pins, detents and springs. This is designed to use KE Arms take down pins from their KE-15 lowers, you can order them as individual parts at the KE Arms site. I also recommend getting their extended hammer pins while you're there, they are longer and fit the entire width of the Hoffman lowers so your fire control group is extra secure in your PLA+. Right now the safety detent and spring have a hole that you can tap and fill with a set screw or what ever your heart desires, this is the hand fitting part. The regular Hoffman head and tail plates will not fit either, I've included a modified design for each that fit the KE Arms front pin. I'm working on mkII, it will be a little while though.

One Year Update: I've put 1200-1500 rounds though this since printing last year and have had no cracking, melting or other issues related to the lower. It's even survived a few hundred rounds of my way over charged reloads, although I think thats more a testament to the BRN-180 upper. Anyway, there's update on the way that adds a little TPU buffer pad behind the receiver end cap so its a bit more secure and fixes the distance from the side rail to the dust cover stud, I didnt get that dimension right. Also I'm going to try for a pushup test on it at somepoint soon now that a replacement has been printed. The Bambu Labs does a way better job than my old z binding hot mess CR-10.
