This makes use of a 42x40mm Carbon tube and the cap is used by first threading a 3/4x16-1/2x28 adapter into the FTN.4 and then placing the cap over the portion of the thread adapter that's still protruding with jbweld. Once this is done you will then use jbweld on the entire outside and slide it into the carbon tube. This helps to keep the thread adapter from blowing out of the threads when it heats up.
