the RGC Chimera, originally created by Ruby, is a 5.7x28/22lr/22mag suppressor which is intended to be very light weight and low profile, and will even cycle on pistols. although it is not recommended to be used with 5.7 pistols when printed in pla, as a magdump will absolutely destroy it, it may be used in higher grade materials with some care to not melt it.
on PCCs it will work great and be nearly hearing safe outside of the supersonic crack.
Arizona specifically only took issue with this after the "ruby foundation" drama in which they began to claim that my store is scamming people. (not true, lol)
after I refused to turn over the files that i spent a year refining and working on, with only one or two other beta testers, they told me that the project was obsolete and couldn't be released. they also claim that I was kicked out of the testing rooms, which is untrue. I voluntarily left, and also voluntarily requested that my gatalog account be deleted due to the swatting threats, which will be detailed in my upcoming post *what happened from my perspective*
this version is the last version which saw active development, and performance is analogus to my krizantema design, if not slightly quieter due to variance in the internal structure.
due to dramatics, this project was proclaimed obsolete and restricted from releasing. I completely disagree with this "ruling" and will not take down these files for that reason. in testing it was found to be reliable with 5.7x28 *when printed correctly*, and has been shown to be very reliable/effective with 22. please note that due to variance between ammunition some 5.7x28 may overpressure it in pistols. without changing the design significantly there isn't much way around this, but if you find a combination that works for you then stick with it.
I think that releases should be free of politics and identity, and no amount of trooning is going to change that. I don't give a fuck what you are or why you are. I just wanna make cool shit. anyone that stands in the way of that should be considered an enemy to freedom and to the space of 3d guns as a whole.
the actions of many people over the last few days should be objectively examined, as their child-like emotionally driven behavior can only be described as reactionary and counterproductive. those infected with the Marxist cultural mind virus should be considered enemies to freedom. "it's not freedom if it doesn't gout of its way to include me and mine" is not freedom. freedom does not care about identity, that is the entire point.
so while they try to cancel/kill/dox me IRL for publishing files online, Please consider that this problem may also affect you in due time, if you end up in the cross hairs of the troon goons.
and just because you are transgender, that doesn't mean I don't like you. ruby was trans and wasn't obnoxious about it, to the point that I had no idea until after she died. I can only imagine that she would be very unhappy with the way things are turning out right now.
and just to be absolutely clear, I will never leak someone else's files. every beta I was in is safe with me, as it has always been. these files have undergone transformative work and as far as I am concerned are covered under the same CC-BY-NC licence as the crescent, which I also have remixed to accept a Nielsen device.
thanks for your time,
-Nikolai Romanov
update! they finally noticed. if I don't have to say who "they" is, then I know I've won in the basis of being morally and intellectually correct.
to address the issue of "everyone involved" there were three active people in the beta room, including myself and Arizona, plus one tester, seen in the screenshots Arizona posted. there was one other not in the room who also tested. so as far as the consent of everyone involved, it was me(the dev), Arizona (intellectual property squatter) and 2 testers. Arizona was the only person who took issue with it.
in saying that the design is not reliable, you neglect to mention the fact that it is absolutely reliable *on 5.7 rifles* as well as *22 pistols*
this means that is very good for those things. just like if you take most commercial cans and put them on a 11.5in barrel AR-15, it voids the warranty, there is nothing wrong with saying that certain use cases of a suppressor may not function as you intend it. this is noted and addressed in the readme more than once. just like the tumansky, which has trouble with 556, but works very reliably with 300blk and 762*39, there are limitations to what you can do.
with my lightweight flowthrough design, I wasn't able to get it to cycle completely consistiently with all pistols. why is that? maybe because you are reaching the material limitations of the stuff it's made of and it should be used carefully.
anyways, there's more to come from me, just need some time.
