This is a remix of RICECUTTA's KJAS handguard for the FGC-9 MKII 3D printable carbine pistol firearm that can be found on the Gatalog.
When I originally built my FGC-9 MKII, I did so with the KJAS Handguard modification, but after I finished I didn't like the "boxy" look it had at the front. I also didn't care too much for the mounting points when adding a front grip as it felt a bit flimsy to me when I attached it. So I made this remix which slightly trims up the front of the guard and also integrates an angled foregrip directly into the handguard. It feels significantly more sturdy now and has the look/feel I desired. Only two M4 30mm screws & nuts are required to mount this directly to the barrel retainer after you slide it on.
My FGC9's blue, black and yellow color scheme often had me calling this pistol "Bumblebee Tuna", so I said "Alllllllll righty then!!!" and added some Ace Ventura imagery to make it a reality (see images included in zip file).
Included in the zip file are two remixed STLs. First, the Ace Ventura remix with the images of Ace and the bumblebee tuna logo I put together shown above on either side of the guard. The second STL is the "plain version", without any of those "pet detective" pieces.
This remix is using an "integrated angled foregrip", that based on my simple understanding "should be legal" to use on the FGC-9 MKII. I am not a lawyer though, so please check your region's local laws if this is important to you.
