Nemean Panoply - Firmament v1.4.1 by Beecher
"From across the sea came an artificer of great power, he taught the Greeks mathematics and metallurgy. It was an age of wonders."
The first piece of the Nemean Panoply, Firmament is a fixed stock with toolless adjustable length of pull and cheek rest height.
It features a cant adjustable recoil pad and is compatible with both milspec rifle buffer tubes and universal picatinny mounts.
Strength and stability is achieved with a combination of carbon fiber tubing and steel hardware, but I have plans to release a fully 3D printable version with comparable performance in the future.
The low cost and quantity of required hardware, combined with the exceptional strength of the assembly makes the real hardware version worth building in my opinion.
v1.4.1 Release Notes
- Added a few notes to the parts list and added missing M4/M5 hardware
- Fixed some file orientations that I forgot to update. All stocks are now oriented in the way I tested.
- Added new rifle buffer tube stock version, compatible with all standard rifle buffer tubes. Only the last three holes of the milspec 6 are reachable, mini buffer tube might be the way to go.
- Added two recoil pad sizes
- Seeking testers to provide input on the build and part fit, all feedback welcomed and appreciated!
See README for assembly instructions and hardware list.
