Grip for Hoffman Tactical Lower V2.5, V2.6, V2.7
Mirror: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4949228
I modified the FossCAD MOE grip to make it symmetrical inside, and cut away some material so that a lock washer fits and to reduce print time and filament use. Then I trimmed the grip to fit the Hoffman Tactical Lower with a hose clamp.
Grip was modified to fit the Hoffman Tactical V2.5 Lower, but I have put them on V2.6 and V2.7 lowers, so it will fit those three versions, at least.
The grip feels pretty good in the hand. Gives more reach to the trigger than A1 an A2 grips, and a lot of other designs, which will help if you have large hands. I may work on an XL version at some point.
GRIP WILL PRINT SMOOTH IF YOU DON'T USE CURA SLICER WITH "FUZZY SKIN" OPTION TURNED ON. See below for settings.
Printed mine from PETG with fuzzy skin in Cura Slicer. You may need to file the inside of the grip to make it fit properly with fuzzy skin. Without fuzzy skin it will print smooth, except for the serrations on the front and back of the grip.
I printed butt-down without supports, and it came out looking and feeling pretty good, but that will depend on the filament you use. I have been printing with PETG for months and I have my settings figured out for my printer and mods. Your mileage may vary.
Fuzzy Skin - Yes
Fuzzy Skin Outside Only - Yes
Fuzzy Skin Thickness - 0.3mm
Fuzzy Skin Density - 1.25 1/mm
Fuzzy Skin Point Distance - 0.8mm
