The DS9 has two different rail specs that differ from standard rail specs. This STEP file is a way to Dev your own attachments such as hand stops and light mounts for the DS9 or remix existing designs onto the blank rail sections.
I do not know why the rails are the way they are, just trying to make a solution to the problem.
