The Marsupial MK18 is first DIY bufferless AR15s to be release publicly. The primary goal of the project is to create a self contained, bufferless bolt carrier system using commonly available parts in the US market. This system will be available to integrate into other designs to allow for folding stocks and bullpup designs. It was inspired by the AR-180B. The overall aesthetic has nods to the AR-180B design as well as seen by the contour of the lower receiver. Through the use of off the shelf AR15 parts and SCS bent stainless steel, we have created an affordable, rifle-caliber, bufferless AR15, whos bolt carrier and recoil sled design can be dropped into nearly any design. I am so excited to release this to the public and see what the creative community will make with it. -Cipher
A rifle round with very similar overall dimensions to the 5.56x45mm round, but a much fatter bullet.
Its claim to fame is that it can be loaded for both subsonics that don't suck and supers that are still a pretty good rifle round.
One of the most common rifle calibers in NATO countries. For the purposes of this index, this is synonymous with the .223 Remington cartridge.
Guns with a non-hand point of contact that fire rifle cartridges. For the purposes of this index, full-length rifles and carbines are in the same category.
Matches all of the AR-15s, including all carbine and rifle variants, the M16, bullpup conversions, and generally anything that takes the gas system, bolt assembly, and barrel off of one.
DOES NOT match things that take AR-15 FCGs and does not necessarily imply as much.
(LEGACY TAG: TO BE REMOVED)
Anything that would be considered by the ATF to be the frame or receiver of a firearm and thus require serialization. This tag is only for kit builds, not for hybrid releases like the FGC-9 which take no gun parts.
Releases like the Orca, ARK, Bobcat, and similar are frames/receivers since they still require off-the-shelf gun parts.
Black Lotus Coalition is a GunCAD group headed by Moderator Gage. Of the biggest groups, they divest the most.
The initial dataset for GunCAD Index came from their list of Odysee channels.

Maybe the new “Marsupial Mk18” could be remixed to look like it? Or like another guy said, the “Dissident”? Would need to find a way to incorporate a paddle magazine release. I can’t remember if the 552 has a reciprocating charging handle or not.

I love this design. You do amazing work. Looking at the bolt and recoil spring system, it looks like it would be super easy to adapt the marsupial mk18 bolt setup. That would bring the process WAY down on this build. Looking forward to the release. I would definitely be willing to try taking a stab a…
